Remember that teeny tiny Apple core pincushion I made for the #teenytinypinnieparade hosted by @tinkerellen. Well here is, the pattern for a much larger, easier to make version as promised.
How sweet are these pincushions! I just love them and find them super addictive and easy to make. I found it hard to stop at just one.

This pattern was of course inspired by apple core EPP (english paper piecing) templates, one of my favourite EPP shapes.
I used raw edge applique to add details to the apple core, chucked in some lazy daisy stitches to make apple seeds and a piece of braided trim to make a stem.

These little pincushion finish at 3” wide by 5” tall, including the leaf and stem.

To make this pincushion, head on over to the shop to buy the pattern. It’s a digital pattern, so you can download it immediately and start sewing right away!
If you do make this Pinnie, please tag me on facebook or instagram so I can share your lovely makes.
