Hello everyone and welcome to 2022 at Ma & Me Designs! I hope you all had a happy and restful Christmas and new year.
My year here has been off to a slower start than I planned, but I’ve still managed to squeeze in some sewing time of course. Including this toy train storage bag for my son. Made with this totally appropriate and sweet “The Little Engine That Could” fabric by Jill Howarth.

I love the mesh pocket on the front.

I also added a little ribbon tag for some extra detail.

Those of you who follow me over on Instagram will know that over Christmas I updated my Mini Chubby Christmas Stocking to include a micro mini version as well. Which is the perfect size to hang on the tree as a décor or for gift cards. The Pattern Can be found under the ‘shop‘ section of the blog or in my Etsy shop.

Here are some I’ve sewn up here, including a sweet Liberty version. I’d love to do a Liberty Betsy rainbow sometime, but for now there’s plenty of other stuff I want to sew and lots of patterns I want to share.

Here is also some happy mail that has arrived recently, that I can’t wait to dive into. Check out those gorgeous zippers!

In the meantime, take care and happy sewing, Kellie. X
