It’s April already and it seems I have been a little absent around here in the last two months. Opps! I have still been doing plenty of sewing behind the scenes though and what feels like just as much unpicking too! I have a new pattern coming very soon, I’m just working on the final touches, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Here is a sneak peak!

Recently I’ve added a larger size to my Strawberry Treat Bag pattern, the sweetest little Easter treat bag or a gift bag for any time of the year.

I love this version I did in Liberty Betsy, with a touch of green Capel Z for the hull. Such sweet and timeless prints. The cord strings I’ve used here are just natural cotton.

However, if you’re looking for some sweet strings, cord stoppers and string end caps for your bag making, like the ones i’ve used here, you can find plenty of pretty ones to pick from over at Lisa’s Store Rose Garden Patchwork. That’s where I usually get a lot of my bag making supplies from.
If you’re looking for something cute for the littlest loves in your life, I also have a pattern for a bunny Bib you can find in my Esty store too. I’ve made a few of these now. Including one for my daughter for her first Easter and this one for my Nephew.

I also made my little lady another bunny bib too using pink linen and Liberty Betsy because I couldn’t help myself, when I have an idea, I just need to do it. I love raw edge appliqué, so quick and simple. And I felt this little bunny wasn’t complete without a pom-pom tail. Backed with fluffy soft chenille, and the sweetest little Easter bunny bib was born. I think I may just need to share a pattern for this one too.

Wishing you all a very happy Easter, I hope you have a wonderful time with friends and family.
Until next time, Happy Sewing, Kellie. X
