I’m here to share with you my latest pattern you can find over on Etsy, the Toddler Pocket Bib. This bib pattern came about because as every mum of toddlers would know, it’s hard to find large bibs with good coverage for little ones, especially ones that are long enough. This pattern solved all my bib problems and It even has a pocket to catch all those crumbs because we all know those little people just don’t like to keep still. Maybe it could also hold a toy or two (who doesn’t love pockets!?) and would also be great to help keep them clean during active play. It also optional ties to help keep it securely in place.

I love this bib and it’s the same pattern I used to make my little boy his most recent bibs out of. He is a couple of months shy of two and it’s the perfect size to catch all those messy spills. I’ve made him this one with a pocket and I just love this cute train fabric.
I’ve also made him a few that are just plain. This pattern is quick and can be customised in so many ways. You can have lots of fun with it, use a scrappy patchwork panel then add some ties and a pocket or leave them both out. The choice is yours and the possibilities endless. These ones of i’ve made are just plain but still adorable and functional.

This one was made by my friend Kellie over at Sew Mimi. K and it’s definitely my favourite one. Isn’t she so talented.

Here’s another from Chiara over at Chia.poli, check out here sweet makes over on Instagram.

This pattern would make a great gift for friends or family and I’m sure every mum wants something that will help make a little less washing.
